Short biography:
Géza Szabó was born in 1982 in Kecskemét, Hungary. He received the M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the
Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BUTE) in 2006.

In 2004-2005, he was working in the Laboratory of Cryptography and System Security (CrySyS), Department of Telecommunications, Budapest University of Technology and Economics. His research interest included Directory Harvest Attacks (DHA) and security metrics. His advisor was Boldizsár Bencsáth.

Since 2005, he has been working at Ericsson Hungary in the research laboratory, Trafficlab. His master’s thesis has been prepared in connection with his work in the field of traffic classification. His advisor was István Szabó.

In 2006-2009, he was working as a PhD student in the Department of Telecomminications and Media Informatics, Budapest University of Technology and Economics. His advisor is Sándor Molnár.

In 2011 he received his PhD degree in the topic of traffic classification algorithms.
