The Informatics Building is in the middle of the Infopark, which contains other university buildings, and buildings of HP, IBM, Ericsson, T-Com, etc. These buildings look very similar, so take a look at the picture below to know what to search for:

How to get to the University?

• From Ferihegy Airport:
  • By public transport: by bus 93 or 200 to Kőbánya-Kispest subway station, then by subway 3 (blue subway) to Ferenc körút, and then by tram 4, 6 to Petőfi híd, budai hídfő
  • By taxi: you can catch a taxi at the airport, it costs about 4000-5000 Ft (approx. 18-24 EUR) to the university / most of the hotels. Actual prices and online ordering.
  • By minibus service: for 2300 Ft (approx. 9 EUR) a minibus takes you from the airport to your destination (it has to be booked at least one day before the arrival)). Actual prices.
• From the main train stations:
  • Déli pályaudvar (South train station): by tram 18 or 61 to Móricz Zsigmond Körtér, then by tram 6 to Petőfi híd, budai hídfő
  • Kelenföldi pályaudvar (Train station of Kelenföld): by tram 19, 49 to Móricz Zsigmond Körtér, then by tram 6 to Petőfi híd, budai hídfő
  • Keleti pályaudvar (East train station): by red subway to Blaha Lujza tér, then by tram 4 or 6 to Petőfi híd, budai hídfő
  • Nyugati pályaudvar (West train station): by tram 4, 6 to Petőfi híd, budai hídfő
• From inside the city:
  • by tram 4 or 6: get off at Petőfi híd, budai hídfő (Petőfi bridge, Buda bridgehead at Goldmann György square)
  • by bus 212: get off at Petőfi híd, budai hídfő

After getting off the above vehicles you have walk about 3 minutes as the red line indicates:

• On highways by car:
  • using M1 (E60, E75), M7 (E71): M1-M7 - Budaörsi út - Nagyszőlős u. - Bocskai út -  Október 23. u. - Irinyi József u. - Műegyetem rakpart
  • using M3 (E71): M3 - Hungária körút - Könyves Kálmán körút - Lágymányosi híd -      Pázmány Péter sétány - Műegyetem rakpart
  • using M5 (E75): M5 - Nagykőrösi út - Gyáli út - Könyves Kálmán körút - Lágymányosi híd - Pázmány Péter sétány - Műegyetem rakpart
